Who this covers

Simic Solutions Inc., operating as SimicSolutions, provides Life Quest and operates the Life Quest section at simicsolutions.com/lifequest/. SimicSolutions is responsible for the website email information described here; Life Quest is the app and website brand. This policy covers the Life Quest iOS app and simicsolutions.com/lifequest/. The app and website handle information differently, so they are described separately below.

Information in the iOS app

The current app stores the information you enter, such as quests, inventory and Coin chest details, journal entries, onboarding and Player details, health or emergency notes you choose to add, and saved places. These records are kept in the app's private storage on your device. The current app has no account system, advertising SDK, or in-app analytics, and does not send your Life Quest records to a Simic Solutions server.

The app can request location access when you open the Places map. If you allow it, your location can be used to show where you are and record explored areas on your device. You can refuse or change location access in iOS Settings. Map content is provided using Apple Maps, which may process map-related requests under Apple's privacy policy.

Your operating system may include app data in device backups according to your Apple settings. Simic Solutions does not operate those backups.

Information on the website

If you choose to subscribe and check the consent box, SimicSolutions collects your email address and your permission to receive emails about Life Quest and other SimicSolutions apps, launches and offers. Netlify Forms receives the submission, including the consent choice, form identity and wording version. Our website integration sends the email address and consent evidence to Brevo to manage subscriptions and email delivery. The evidence includes the submission identifier and time, form, version and agreed scope. Signing up is optional and is not required to use the app. The box starts unchecked.

If you accept optional website analytics, this section uses the SimicSolutions Google Analytics and Metricool services to understand visits and improve the site. You can decline or change this choice through Privacy choices without affecting access to the site. This analytics choice is separate from email signup. Those services may process technical information about your browser and visit, and may use cookies or similar technologies. Typography is loaded from Google Fonts, which receives technical connection information when your browser requests font files. Your browser settings or privacy tools may limit tracking. Links to social platforms or other websites are governed by those services' own policies.

This broader signup choice applies to new explicit opt-ins made using this wording. Earlier Life Quest-only subscriptions keep their original scope unless the subscriber gives new permission. Changing this policy does not expand anyone's existing email consent.

Your choices

You can erase Life Quest's local records from the app's Settings screen. This is permanent within the app. You can also manage location access in iOS Settings. If you joined the email list, you may withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe option in a future email or by contacting us. You can ask us to remove your email-list record.

We retain email-list information while you remain subscribed or until we process a deletion request. We may retain the minimum consent and suppression information needed to document your choices and avoid sending unwanted email. Website analytics and form submissions are processed through their service providers. We will update this policy if our data practices materially change.
